The preliminary rounds of the national Top Club have been played. The A team won 4-1 against Soar Valley and the B team lost 2-3 by one shot against Knighton Victoria.

For new members, the Top Club competition consists of 5 games, 2 wood singles, 4 wood singles, pairs, triples and fours, the winner being the first to reach 3 wins. Games are played at County level until the County winners then play against other County winners until reaching the Finals at Leamington.
Last year Kingscroft A were the Leicestershire County winners but lost in the first inter county match. They will be hoping to go further this year.
