Club Events
The management committee are hoping to hold the following social activities and events. Please check the club notice boards or ask the Honorary Secretary, or another committee member for up-to-date information.
MONDAY EVENINGS (6:15 pm) - Hinckley & District Triples League. A list of dates is displayed on the notice board. The bar is open from 7:00 pm, and cobs will be available to buy.
TUESDAY AFTERNOONS (APRIL TO SEPTEMBER) Chummies Bowling Practice. ARRIVE AT 1:30 pm - Organised by John King & Neville Wood. Please check the notice board for details as the Chummies may change depending on other scheduled bowling fixtures. These afternoons provide an ideal opportunity for new bowlers to learn the Laws, basic skills, and etiquette of the Sport of Flat Green Lawn Bowls.
WEDNESDAY EVENINGS. Leicester & District Bowls League - a list of dates is displayed on the Notice Board.
FRIDAY CLUB NIGHT: The Club is open from approximately 8:00 pm until 11:00 pm throughout the year and cobs are available. All Bowling and Non Bowling Members, and guests are very welcome.
DOMINO DRIVES - Monthly September to April. Saturdays, 7:30pm for a prompt 8:00pm start. Cobs available to purchase. Attendance Lists will be on the Notice Board in the Changing Room corridor. To be viable at least 32 players need to attend. The organiser is Neil Bedder.
FIXTURES AGAINST BARWELL INDOOR: SATURDAYS 12th October 2024, 25 January 2025 and 15 February 2025 - All matches are Mixed 6 Rinks.
