Kingscroft are Leicestershire Champions in Men and Women’s Top Club 2023

Kingscroft Bowls club has confirmed its position as the leading bowls club in Leicestershire by winning both the Men’s and Women’s Top Club Championships.

The Men’s team started off by defeating Soar Valley 4-1 in the first round, then Wescotes (5-0), Shepshed (4-1), Knighton Victoria (5-0) before meeting New Lount in the Leicestershire area final and winning 3-2.

The Women started by defeating Blaby 75-61, then New Lount 3-1, market Bosworth 78-55 and Birstall 3-1 in the Leicestershire area final.

Both teams now progress to the National phase of this Bowls England tournament that ends in Leamington.

Having both the Women and the men’s teams doing so well is a great achievement for the club and the whole club will be supporting the teams as they move forward to the next rounds.
